Weight-155.0

Measurement changes:
                    5/1/13         5/31/13
Waist             31                 32
Stomach        40                40.6
Hips             40                 40.5
Not too bad.  I've started this pregnancy at 148. I've gained 7 pounds.

Symptoms: I can honestly say, I have felt the best this week than I have all pregnancy. I almost feel normal! Some symptoms continue: sore boobs, round ligament pain, minor cramping/stretching. New symptom: headaches :(.  I continue to have urinary hesitancy, but only if I don't go all night. It's terrible. I woke up from actually sleeping a whole night and could not pee for 15 minutes! I had to go so bad but couldn't. I eventually went, but at times I want to set my alarm so I get up in the middle of the night.

Cravings? Caesar salads and cold Velvetta Shells and Cheese-must be cold! Nothing new.

Exercise: I took two long walks and did the Leslie Sansone walking tape this week. It felt good. I am adopting "sweat 5 days a week"-stolen from Beck. I am slowly getting better as my energy increases.

I feel I need to give some thanks to Dan. It was our four year anniversary this week. I cannot believe it's been four years. It's weird when you think of who you will marry when you are young. You just picture this fairy tale of being swept off your feet, getting married and having a beautiful family and that's it, that's what is supposed to happen. It's been a rough road; but I feel so incredibly blessed.  Without sounding too corny, he is my fairy tale. He's so supportive, loving, funny, caring and always has us in mind. I'm really not one to speak about this since I've never been one to be real out there about my feelings. We've known each other almost 15 years and I just thank God that one of us never walked a way from each other because I have no idea where I'd be. He's going to be such a wonderful father and I feel very blessed.

This week was a good week! Especially because I feel like I'm in that "second trimester energy burst". Mom and Dad had a Memorial Day party. It was nice. I got to spend time with family which is always good and there's always good food!! I also took a few days off of work as I had some holiday time to burn. We planned nothing! I love having nothing planned. It's nice to get yard work done and just sleep in! We relaxed mostly on our anniversary. We went to Fred Astire and had a dance lesson. It was fun, but since it was a groupon, they tried talking us into paying for lessons...yeah at 400.00 for five 40 min lessons, no thank you. I made Manicotti and Apple pie for dinner/dessert and we played a game of Sequence on the patio. Mom and Dad came and dropped off some hanging planters and a card which was very nice. It was a good week.

Baby Thoughts: I'm starting to get excited about everything. I now have in my mind it's a boy since that's what the ultrasound tech told us at our 12 week appointment, however, I'm still not rushing out to buy anything just yet. I really am now keeping my eye open for rummage sales.

I honestly don't see much difference in five weeks! Maybe I'm "popping" a little more?
