Baby is size of: Green Olive
Weight-148.4
Change from last week -2
Symptoms: nausea, upset stomach at night-not sure why, sore and huge boobs, occasionally cramping, exhausted, food aversions, very light brown bleeding-almost stopped-whoohoo!
Cravings? Continue to crave carbs, although I have been doing better in moderation-hence the 2lb difference from last week.
Exercise-I am starting my walking tape and push ups next week
Well, I got results back on my blood tests. My Vitamin D is slightly low and my platelets are also slightly low. The nurse didn't sound too concerned at all. All she told me was to increase my Vitamin D intake to 2,000IU in the AM and 2,000IU in PM. The low cause of platelets could be a fluke or simply because of pregnancy. 8% of women will experience low platelets during pregnancy. I'm trying not to do a lot of research because a lot of it is quite alarming if your platelets get too low. It is what it is. They are just going to re-test at next appointment.
Nothing real exciting to report this week. Lots of rain has been going on and it has been sooooo dreary outside!! I am excited when I can take a nice walk at night with Dan and listen to the bugs buzz at night and the birds chirping in the morning! I am looking forward to summer. I've been doing research on different things to do in Milwaukee that don't involve alcohol. I found some food tours, a drive in, and a few other things.
I've been doing better food wise in moderation. I have also have been incorporating more veggies, but only with some kind of sauce on it-cheese, ranch-which is better than nothing! Fruit isn't really a problem.
Dan and I are going for Sushi tonight! I don't want to do raw sushi so I am going with some basic rolls. I may also do a shrimp tempura since it's fried. I don't really get caught up in all the "don'ts" of pregnancy. I take some precautions but you still have to live!
